OPERATIONS MANAGER

Job title: Operations Manager (Security Services)
Salary: £31,200 for 39 hours of work per week
Location of job: Leicester, UK (with initial introduction and training in Manchester)
and with regular travel to clients’ premises
 

 

360 Alert Security Ltd is a national private security company based in Manchester, with a new branch based in Leicester. We provide a comprehensive range of security services to businesses located in the UK. Due to ongoing business and a desire to continue with our impressive business expansion, we are looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will be responsible for planning and coordinating our security measures for organizations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for creating and managing a local control team, which supervises and assigns duties to security staff. They will also be responsible for monitoring and improving security measures and maintaining strong client relationships.

Main duties and responsibilities of the job:

  •  Developing professional customer relationships and networks to assist in the expansion of the business
  •  Extensive employee management including induction, coaching, training and setting out clear goals and objectives for the team
  •  Ensuring all aspects of the required security services are being delivered to the customers’ satisfaction and in accordance with the contract
  •  Ensuring the effective distribution of workload and coordination of security and detection staff on a daily basis
  •  Analysing security requirements and advising clients accordingly Skills, qualifications, and experience required for the job:
  •  Experience working in the provision of security services, with in-depth knowledge of common client requirements
  •  Have a proven track record of employee management
  •  Experience in the provision of incidence reports and ways to limit reoccurrence to improve company performance
  •  Experience in developing and managing the processes for securing classified and sensitive information
  •  In-depth understanding of security protocols, policies, and procedures necessary for safeguarding lives and property
  •  Be able to demonstrate good listening skills and excellent communication skills
  •  Ability to work within time constraints and under pressure
  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  •  Ability to handle demanding people in challenging situations
